Moving. Just hearing that word makes me roll my eyes. With so many horror stories about unscrupulous moving companies charging outrageous rates, I wasn’t sure where to turn. Luckily I came across My Truck Buddy’s profile on Yelp. After using them in May for my move, I must concur with their 5-star rating.
My wife and I had a fairly simple move…out of studio apartment and into a 2-floor townhouse. The crew consisting of Leon, Tyler and John did a superb job in all aspects of the move:
1) Timeliness (they arrived 5 minutes early)
2) Care (they handled our items such that we only had one glass break…and that was likely due to our error in packing)
3) Efficiency (the move took just under 4 hours in large part because we had a large number of small bags and unboxed items that required a number of trips to and from the truck).
4) Brute strength (the crew definitely ate its spinach before handling our insanely heavy sofa bed). MTB really made what could have been a stressful situation into a breeze. If you’re in the market for a move within the DC metro area, look no further. MTB is the best!
