The 5-star rating on Yelp does not do My Truck Buddy any justice because their service turned out to be beyond only 5 stars. We found My Truck Buddy through Yelp and boy did they ever live up to expectations. We had 9am appointment to move our 4 bedroom townhouse in Alexandria to a 5 bedroom house in Annandale. The two trucks were parking on our street literally at 8:58 AM. The men (Tyler, Ara, Elmer, Andre, Anthony and George) got out, we gave them a quick tour of the house, and before we knew it, they were disassembling the furniture, wrapping them up, and loading them onto the truck. Two hours later, everything was loaded and our old home was empty.
As soon as they arrived at the new place, they were unloading, unwrapping, and assembling all the furniture again. Believe it or not, three bedrooms, an office, two living rooms, two dining rooms and a family room, a basement fridge, a garage-full of yard work stuff, were loaded and unloaded by 1:40 PM!! They guys did not take a minute break, did not loiter, and did not waste a minute. The final price was unbelievably low I felt like I was robbing them for a minute.
I hope I never have to move again, but if I did, I know I’ll be going back to My Truck Buddy!
