My Truck Buddy was recommended by some friends and they did not disappoint! Plus the fact that they only charge for 1hr minimum definitely it more appealing. Scheduling and confirming our appointment was simple and straightforward. I received a calendar invite & a check-in call the day before. Good idea to take a look at their moving guide…it’s quite helpful.
Day of, the movers showed up 20 minutes early and we were ready to go! We had 3 guys (Chuck, Reggie, and Chris) who were friendly and professional. The move was from a 2-bedroom apartment on the 4th floor of a walk-up in NW DC to another 2-bedroom in NW DC. The three guys were fantastic and so great wrapping all furniture in blankets/plastic wrap, putting mattresses in mattress bags, and taking great care with our several boxes and loose items. They were efficient with packing up the old apartment and even more efficient unloading the truck into the new apartment. Despite having to move our stuff out of a 4th floor apartment with no elevator, the three guys were so nice and friendly, cracking jokes throughout the entire move (did I mention that the initial apartment didn’t have AC?)
Overall, extremely pleased with the job! Chuck, Reggie and Chris were very friendly and professional. Not a single item dinged or damaged. Will definitely request these three the next time I move!!
