We were moving from a one bedroom apartment in Woodbridge to a two bedroom apartment in Centreville, and the new place is on the third floor with all stairs — no elevator! Everything made it here in one piece in less than five hours. They even took apart our IKEA bed to move it and they probably did a better job putting it together than we did and in a fraction of the time it took us! They even moved a large potted Japanese maple tree for us without any issues. They were very polite and respectful and kept us in the loop the whole time. Setting up the move via email was also very easy as the company responds to emails very promptly. Finally, the pricing is easy to understand and very reasonable! “I’m very happy to have hired a company to move me. There was a lot of stuff, some heavy items and boxes, and stairs to the new place. MTB guys handled everything quickly and without incident. We moved everything from Arlington to Fairfax in three hours. The team showed up 15 minutes early and were very friendly. They wrapped all furniture with pads and plastic. The new place had stairs, but they handled that just as well. It was worth every penny and would have probably cost me the same thing had I gotten my own truck and asked friends to do it, and it would have definitely taken me more than three hours. “Chuck and Leon were absolutely amazing. I had a lot of super heavy furniture and delicate items. They wrapped everything carefully and moved it with the same care I expected if I moved my belongings myself. Also, the packed up the truck and unpacked it very quickly, they showed up on time and left within the forecasted time frame. Last but not least, when all said and done, the move was reasonably priced for the D.C. area and only cost me a few hundred more than a self move. It was 100% worth it. “Moving gives me anxiety. A lot of anxiety – I don’t know why, but it does. So many things can go wrong!! But MTB really helped.

I used My Truck Buddy to move from a studio to a one-bedroom in the same apartment complex. The estimated time was about 1hr 30 min, but the guys finished in 1hr and 15 min! Since they charge by 15-min intervals after the first hour, I thought this was a great save. They even were able to come before the scheduled time, which worked out perfectly for me. Chuck and Reggie did a great job!! They were friendly (called to check in and called when they were on their way), on time, efficient, and even moved a few extra things that I hadn’t asked them to move (a few lamps, etc.).
