As the DC Council prepares to take a final vote today on letting services like Uber and Lyft operate in the District, cab drivers are ready to stage another traffic-slowing demonstration.<\/p>\n
It’s supposed to start around 10:30, when cabbies will circle Freedom Plaza.<\/p>\n
The drivers say the app-based services are unfair competition, \u00a0because they’re not subject to the same regulations as taxis.<\/p>\n
