The customer service is extraordinary! I knew it was moving season so I wanted to lock in and reserve my moving date. I reserved the spot without a quote on their website. It did take a few days to hear back that I got it, but there are tons of emails that MTB has to go through each day, and an automated email response let me know that.
My coworker told me that she heard on the news there are a few moving companies that give online quotes, then jack up the price after they’ve loaded everything. That company that was on the news had an F with BBB anyway. So, just to be safe I sent an email to MTB asking a general quote. He emailed me back quickly giving me a good range of 300-400 for my studio apt sized move and said it ranges upon the hours. He also let me know he has those quick reservations so as to not do a quote. I thanked him for his extra service in such a busy time!
I was moving from Old Town Alexandria to Arlington. Their office is in Old Town so they arrived 15 mins earlier which was great! They came in and got right to work. Moved everything swiftly and with care. Everything took 3 hours and cost $356 for 3 hours of labor and the truck rental.
