My roommate and I used the My Truck Buddy crew a couple years ago when we moved within Arlington and they were fabulous. On time, careful with our furniture, efficient, and just great in general. When we realized we’d be moving again this year, there was no doubt we’d call these guys up again.
I scheduled our move with David about three weeks ago ago and he was great over the phone, and we confirmed our move for this past Sunday. When I called Sunday to confirm they were on their way, we got terrible news: they forgot to put us on their schedule. What?! I was totally disappointed….we were SO ready to get OUT of our apartment. However, David did everything he could, was incredibly understanding and apologetic, and confirmed that he and his crew would be there the next morning at 10 to take care of our move. They called as they were on their way, showed up early, and go to work. They kept apologizing as they came in to grab more boxes and were great…and I remembered why we had called them in the first place. They wound up giving us a 30% discount off the total for the inconvenience and it all worked out in the end.
Mistakes happen because people aren’t perfect. I won’t lie, my roommate and I were shocked and disappointed when we found out they weren’t able to move us on Sunday, but David and his team more than made up for the mistake and I won’t hesitate to call them again.
