My Truck Buddy came highly recommended to me by my best friend, an I can certainly understand why. From the beginning, they quickly responded to my request for a quote, and I had them booked within a half a day. Everything was all set for moving day until three days before when I found out that the surrounding streets around the house I was moving to were going to be closed due to a parade for Howard University Homecoming. I of course panicked, but called my Truck Buddy hoping they could reschedule. They said that it wasn’t a problem, and changed my moving day to the following day right on the spot. Their willingness to accommodate removed the stress from what could have been a very stressful situation!
My Arlington to DC move took about 1.75 hours , and that included a half hour of driving time. The movers were punctual, professional, efficient and friendly. My only “complaint” is that they were far quicker than anticipated and there was overlap with a tenant moving out of the house – but that of course was my fault for underestimating their efficiency.
I have used movers for a move within Arlington that cost me more than double, so I could not have been more appreciative for My Truck Buddy. I had been dreading moving day for quite some time, but there was no need because they helped make the transition more smooth than I ever could have imagined.
