I had to move a storage unit full of a parent’s stuff, most of which hadn’t and won’t be used for years.(Nope, couldn’t dump any of it!) I had to move a giant desk out of my home and into my office in order to make this possible. There were already piles of stuff lying around waiting for the furniture in the storage unit and I just couldn’t bear dealing with the Rubik’s cube nature of life. I certainly didn’t want to deal with another moving company (sit on the floor, hug your knees and chant ” It could be worse, I’m sure it could be worse!” I didn’t have to. A friend recommended My Truck Buddy and it was the best move I’ve ever made. Were they perfect? Not on an absolutely scientific basis, but close enough to give them 5 stars. They charged only for the time they used, there was sufficient good communication before the move (mostly on-line, my choice) didn’t tear up our stuff, were clear to speak with and followed some confusing directions in a situation that could have been a nightmare. And, everything made it! I have no intentions of moving for a while, but if you’re moving, save yourself a lot of shopping and call them.
