This is the first of what we hope to be a series of posts highlighting notable and downright awesome places to live in the Washington, DC-area. We’ve seen some truly spectacular places in our thousands of moves around the DMV, and we thought highlighting a few of them might be helpful for people looking to relocate in the near future.
When we at My Truck Buddy assess a building, it’s through the eyes of our work — does it have spacious elevators? Are they centrally located to avoid long walks? How’s the parking? Since those questions aren’t likely to be the most relevant to prospective residents, we decided to ask some of our contacts in local apartment buildings to give us their take on why their apartment buildings are among the best.
It was easy to decide which apartment to approach first: Bell Del Ray. It was easy because the management is friendly and truly helpful, and it was recently built in an excellent location not far from shopping centers and the Metro. We also like it because it’s adjacent to our old HQ in Del Ray, home of several Truck Buddy favorite haunts such as The Evening Star and Cheesetique (What?)

The neighborhood is conveniently located near Mt. Vernon Ave in Del Ray where there are a host of wonderful boutiques and tasty eateries that have been featured in many magazines.
Any special deals coming up for prospective residents?
Currently we are offering one to two free months for leases between 12 and 24 month leases that start by December 31st and also waiving the move-in fee if an application is put in within 48hours of viewing the property.
